andrea c @Charst Feb 23 Film d'essai, dramma che vive e cresce dell'ordinarietà di due individui border line, per diverse ragioni, nella società contemporanea. I dialoghi e le situazioni che si vengono a creare sono studiati, sottili ma allo stesso tempo potenti. Non convince invece la timeline, confusa tanto da mettere in discussione alcuni comportamenti tra i protagonisti, proprio perchè non si riesce a comprendere lo stato della loro relazione. L'incipit è estremamente lento, lasciando percepire il ripetersi delle giornate frenetiche senza però svilupparne le emozioni. Il finale sfrutta la potenza delle immagini per colpire dritto al cuore, senza mezze misure, lasciando però parzialmente in sospeso le sorti di uno dei due personaggi. From the beginning, it feels more draining than engaging, never finding a rhythm that pulls the viewer in. The screenplay is overwhelmingly long and often feels inaccessible. Dialogue dominates nearly every scene, yet very little of it feels purposeful or emotionally connective. Rather than guiding the audience, the story feels scattered and distant. It’s like falling down a rabbit hole, occasionally nearing clarity before slipping back into confusion. Narratively, the film lacks momentum. There are no meaningful twists or progression, just a sense of stagnation that makes the runtime feel much longer than it is. The direction is largely to blame. The director fails to shape the material into something captivating, allowing scenes to linger without visual or emotional payoff.
