This is a very well done movie. People may not like the honest brutality, but it gives a good picture of just how damaging child abuse is. A fantastic film. It should be dark, for it is dealing with a dark issue. Worth watching for sure.

This story needs to be read as a novel, as everything is in the hero's mind. As a movie, it's one long introduction while you wait for something to happen. Something does happen in the final minutes, but I did not buy it: Those guys don't repent because they don't think they're wrong.

A crazy guy going crazy has become the new role for actors to take on to try and win some award Hollywood likes to give themselves. Usually (this one included) turns into a bunch of monologs and not really caring much about the nut job.
