rocktrim 07/19/2022 not quite sure what was going on there. maybe im not smart enough to interpret the subtle plot development. i think it was about healing properties of hallowed ground due to witches killed centuries before. See more Phoenix J @Phoenix203 2d I’m sorry, this move was so painfully boring and pointless to watch. I hated every minute of it, it looked so promising and the reviews were good, It seemed. But it turned out really bad, it was all falling apart and was trying to form a puzzle but it just didn’t work out at all. If I could give advice about this movie, I would tell, whoever is thinking of watching this movie, save yourself 1 and a half Hour of boredom only for 10 minutes of puny satisfaction that won’t fulfil your needs at all. I tried to like it, and I am a supernatural aka horror aka witch fan, but this was really bad, bad acting, bad plot, boring story, not recommended at all. I cannot fathom enough how bad this movie was, it shakes me to the core how I endured every minute of it, it takes a true soldier to watch the entire thing without dying of boredom or having to glance at your phone every minute. Despite the great cast and acting, the screenplay and the pace do not help since the viewer will expect something that does not happen. However, the cinematography and the music score are very beautiful. My vote is three. I really enjoyed Alice Krige in this, perfectly cast, but found Kota Eberhardt a little bit hard to believe in this role. I also thought it lingered just a tiny bit too long on the trippy elements. Really beautiful cinematography and lovely creeping dread vibe throughout. I actually would almost call this a drama rather than a horror. See more buopako Apr 13 Cringe and pretentious.
