The one saving grace for this low-budget film falls within the capable hands of the actors. Staunton Hill has some really impressive talent. Go to Full Review

Jeffrey B @Batman16 Oct 24, 2026 The film captures the essence of essence of what classic horror films from the 80’s were like — the plot is simple yet terrifying to watch. No CG and the fact that it was Directed by Zombie master George Romero’s. son Cameron Romero ( and filmed entirely in Pittsburgh as his father filmed Night of the Living Dead ) makes it an instant cult classic. See more May 28, 2013 nothing really new. same old hillbilly/mutant/retard family merkin people. not the best one but descent for the sub-genre See more May 31, 2012 Cameron has a great sense of style and scene (I guess it's in his genes although different than his father's style). I liked the characters and the actors did a good job with the material (Kathy Lamkin was awesome!). I didn't think the story was that compelling, a little to hard to believe in and while there wasn't a lot of gore, it was more grossly-intense than I like (scare me by what I CAN'T see). Overall, I liked it, just wish there had been "more" See more May 28, 2012 What a let down! I expected more from the son of George A. Romero, a horror master! (Master, in zombie genre, of course...his other films are horrible). See more May 10, 2012 Very graphic in the killings. Dnt stay in any stranger's cottage barn. Slow deaths aouch. Very fake how a granny in a wheelchair kills one guy See more Dec 26, 2011 George A. Romero's son directed this crappily made Texas Chainsaw rip-off, but to be honest there is some things in this movie that I enjoy quite much. See more Read all reviews
