Nox @No-IzzysVersion Jan 7 As a Mötley Crüe fan, I think this captures the story well, of course it leaves out some parts and can be a bit much for people, however for a movie about Mötley it’s nothing you wouldn’t expect. I think any Mötley fan should give this a chance and absolutely should read the book. This shows you the story in a way interviews and concerts won’t. There is a lot of sexual content and a lot of drug use, but any Mötley fan knows there’s not 80s Mötley Crüe without sexual and drugs. Sex, drug and Rock n roll. But as the story went on, I was really invested. I wanted them to succeed, to tame their dragons and kick their demons. I cried when they cried, laughed when they laughed. It's the same reason Straight Outta Compton was stomach-churning, because too few people will walk away knowing the truth. The average Motley Crue fan is the kind of person who would stalk and threaten women for seeking criminal charges against a famous r*pist just to keep the party going, the reviews on this movie really drive that home.
