Dan Morgan (Mark Wahlberg) loves his quiet suburban life as a devoted husband, father of three and successful car salesman. But that's only half the story. Decades earlier, he was an elite government assassin tasked with eliminating the world's deadliest threats. When enemies from his past track him down, Dan packs his unsuspecting wife (Michelle Monaghan), angsty teen daughter, pro-gamer teen son and adorable 10-month-old baby into their minivan and takes off on an impromptu cross-country road trip to Las Vegas. Determined to protect his family -- while treating them to the vacation of a lifetime -- Dan must put his long-dormant skills into action, without revealing his true identity

"C'est un film que j'aurai oublié dans une semaine." C'est un film d'action et de comédie des plus simples. Le background du protagoniste est très classique, un ancien tueur à gages. Les antagonistes sont des mafieux, issus des quatres coins du globe, méchants parce qu'ils sont méchants. Du côté de la famille, on a des personnages ayant des caractères différents et le protagoniste va pendant le long du film (re)créer du lien avec eux afin de donner l'image d'un père/mari accompli au protagoniste (rien d'original pour le genre). La partie finale en est presque comique, tellement c'est réchauffé. En bref, un film dont la trame peut se confondre avec tout un tas d'autres films. Pour toutes ces choses, c'est un film que j'aurai oublié dans une semaine.

Absolutely dog shit. They had a decent plot. How much you can fuck up a cliche? The answer is this movie. Slow, sloppy, cliche and terrible. I'm surprised they even did a sequence for this stupid movie.
