Ola G @Ollie1972 Feb 1 "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" is the third and final film in the trilogy about Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist. And following the previous film we see a hospitalized Lisbeth who awaits her murder trial, while Mikael tries to establish her innocence. This is a tedious, clumsy, stretched and below average film with really poor performances from all involved and the continuous storyline is hardly made intriguing nor exciting. It's clear that the change of director from the first film to another director for part two and three was not a good choice. Both Noomi Rapace and Mikael Nyqvist (Rest in peace) looks like question marks throughout the whole film and the whole film falls flat due to that. This is simply a forgettable film from all angles. Although it is the weakest of the three films, it is far from a bad one. Its slow pace and dense narrative cater to patient viewers, a choice that never becomes boring but does lessen its emotional impact for much of the runtime. The film remains largely faithful to the novel, clarifying a complex story filled with subplots and secondary characters, even if its length still falls short of capturing the book’s full depth. Noomi Rapace once again proves to be the emotional core of the saga, delivering a powerful, internally driven performance as Lisbeth Salander. Restrained in form and focused on narrative, the film finds its strongest moments in the final act, where tension, performances, and dialogue finally align. E para isso descidem eliminar Alexander, mas não conseguem eliminar Salander. Mas ela acaba descobrindo os segredos da época que ela foi colocada no orfanato e feito experimentos com as crianças. E tudo isso acaba indo para o tribunal, Salander contra toda uma sociedade anônima. Mas com a ajuda de Mikael (Nyqvist) eles conseguem a vitória. Aqui temos uma atuação mais radical. Roteiro e enredo aqui a estória melhora, com mais emoção. Vale apena assistir? Para quem esta seguindo a triologia. Nota: 6 See more Shaun E 02/09/2024 The third instalment of the story of possibly the most socially awkward heroine in the history of cinema starts exactly where the second instalment finishes. Noomi Roopace's Lisbeth Salander is played to precision, leaving you to wonder about the motives of those trying to help her. The film is evenly paced with quite a lot of tension throughout the film. It was good to see the bad guys taken down in such an excellent manner. And the ending with Salander and her half-brother was wonderfully done. The film isn't perfect. Dubbing into English is sometimes a bit flaky. Some of the character decisions when faced with danger are questionable. I know that Steig Larson intended to write more stories for his characters before his death, but this trilogy ends quite tidily here. It was interesting that, for the second film in a row, the two main characters barely had an interaction with one another. This is very much a Swedish drama and thriller and I think that Hollywood could have not done it the same justice as was done here. A very good ending to a very fine set of films.
