See more Clare A @ClareAvida 6 days ago I’m bothering to leave a review because actually, although there were plenty of plot holes, it was a bit weird, and the ending was a bit preachy, and obviously the actual premise was ridiculous, it was still enjoyable. We felt there was a pointed message about being in the fish bowl in place of the fish and we talked about what we’d do in that situation. I was prepared not to like it at all but it was a good way to spend a couple of hours! Although the script may lose tension at times the film is about the family dynamic and how staying together a family can accomplish anything. As for the threat, how many movies have had more far fetched ideas yet still did so well. The movie deserved a lot more than what critics here have been giving it. The acting was pretty mid. The story made no sense. I was never very scared. There were plot holes galore. I liked the idea until the truth was revealed and then it was just boring.
