The acting was actually pretty good, especially from both child actors, and the setting was pretty effective as well. The script was the real issue here, as there is just nothing around for it to hang its hat on and make it memorable or interesting.

No meaning, no message, no purpose, no logical sense. An extremely boring journey through a mansion with predictable jumpscares, an awkward score, and disappointing acting. An emotionless story packed with unanswered questions.

It was the worst it had no real plot and nothing made sense and the ending was stupid the movie never explained anything I was totally disappointed and wish I hadnt wasted my money on such a stupid movie.

Really great film. The psychological reference to the plot was such a find! Creepy yet mind winding, so good. The ending was beautiful, so mind completing. I understood it, many may not but it's truly a film to be analyzed. It's such a story, I need to read the book. I recommend but it's up to others to be enjoyed.
