Its runtime passes painlessly enough, but The Vault's slickly engineered thrills are dulled by familiarity.

The scene, the setting and the characters are all familiar, but "The Vault" moves nimbly and efficiently through the motions. Consider this bank job a score. Go to Full Review

Marco L @decatur555 Oct 22, 2026 A polished and easy-to-watch heist movie with a great setup: the Bank of Spain, an impossible vault, a team of specialists and the 2010 World Cup final turning Madrid into the perfect smokescreen. Jaume Balagueró gives the film pace, scale and a professional finish, and the cast helps a lot: Freddie Highmore works as the unlikely young genius, while Liam Cunningham, José Coronado and Luis Tosar add weight and authority. It is entertaining, visually solid and uses the football backdrop with real charm; that local touch is actually more interesting than its international ambitions. But it also feels too formulaic. The characters are more pieces of the plan than people, the twists rarely surprise, and the whole thing looks so calculated that it starts to evaporate as soon as it ends. Not a bad film, and certainly pleasant as escapism, but more competent than exciting. A well-executed robbery that needed more spark, personality, dirt and soul. See more Luca I @Lucaiuly.94 Sep 28, 2026 il film non è maluccio ha un buon ritmo, alcune cose un pò troppo prevedibili, classico film sulle rapine dove si ha un piano che subito va storto e si risolve poi in due minuti See more Elisha I @asapidox Sep 12, 2026 Loved this one! 🔥 Such a fun heist movie. The whole vault plan was clever and kept me hooked the whole way through. Definitely enjoyed this one! See more Will M. @remotely.famous Apr 4, 2026 There’s a special kind of confidence required to make a heist movie in a world where Ocean’s Eleven already exists—and The Vault walks in like it’s got the blueprints, the backup plan, and at least three more plans hidden in its sleeve. Thankfully, it mostly delivers. The film follows a group of highly skilled individuals attempting to pull off a near-impossible break-in, because apparently “extremely difficult” just isn’t challenging enough anymore. From the start, The Vault leans hard into clever plotting, tense buildup, and the kind of “wait…that was part of the plan?” moments that make heist movies so fun. It doesn’t always hit every twist perfectly, but when it works, it really works. See more Sharang L @Scribe187 Mar 14, 2026 Suspend some disbelief and you could have a good time with this one!
