Neve M @TrippyLifeMe2 Feb 20 Where do I start. First off don’t WASTE YOUR TIME watching this It was an a hour and a half of two old folk acting weird and boring. Nana likes to get naked and poppop likes to collect his shitty nappy’s. The two kids like to film and document. Go to visit grandparents they’ve never met and that mom hasn’t spoken to in 10 years lol. Okaaay. The mom’s a terrible actor btw too ott. Turns out they’re just two crazy people who killed the real grandparents. It had potential had the film been half n hour max long. So many wasted minutes of movie time on unnecessary scenes smh.. It’s just straight trash. I’d be embarrassed as the person to say I made this movie. A few things left unexplained and could have done with some background added to make the film blend better, but no. The old man said he put a spell on the kid lool. Weird. Just random. Its mix of light horror and uncomfortable dark humor creates some effective scenes, though the tone never fully settles. There’s a more relaxed, playful Shyamalan here, which helps the movie flow, but also makes it feel like a minor entry in his career.
