Evil in history often operates in more subtle, bureaucratic, and disturbingly ordinary ways. By exaggerating performances and emphasizing melodrama, the film undercuts its own emotional impact. Tragedy does not need constant amplification to resonate. A more restrained and psychologically layered approach would have made the story more believable—and ultimately more powerful.
