Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri unfolds as a typical revenge vigilantly ploy, and could have stayed so under normal direction and screenwriting. Instead, it gets turned into one of the best pictures of the year. Go to Full Review

If Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri carries a lesson or otherwise some underlying thought, then it must be that the abusers of power are struck and wounded, too, and that forgiveness and understanding offer a difficult, if imperfect, salve. Go to Full Review

Stephen C @bob25009 1d Funny in 1 hour and 55 minutes. Rated R for Some Sexual References, Language Throughout and Violence. Academy Award winner in 2018 for Best Actress (Frances McDormand) and Best Supporting Actor (Sam Rockwell). See more Downriver R @Downriver 6d Awsome movie. Masterclass in acting. Cast is the absolute best. Demands your attention from start to finish. A must see. This is a movie that is at the top of it class in everything from drama to comedy/acting/casting/story is the absolute best. Sam Rockwell is my favorite actor. Every movie he's in I'm going and watching after seeing this. Future film makers need to watch this and take notes because this movie will transcend generations. I loved it my kids love it. Some movies are more than movies, this one is most definitely not just a movie it's a work of art that will leave you thinking about it for days/weeks to come after seeing it. I've seen it atleast 20 times now and it only gets better. The performances from this cast is something special. See more Alain E @AlainE Feb 17 On rewatching it I am afraid that this didn’t age well. Most of the situations and characters are cartoonish. McDormand drills a hole in the dentist’s thumb and walks away after rinsing and spitting and there are no consequences. Apparently Ebbing has billboards but no lawyers, who they usually advertise on them. Rockwell is an old school racist, who just modified his vocabulary. And so forth. A total waste of time. Tolerated thirty minutes.
