Robinson’s fairly charming as the love interest, but it’s Deutch who makes the film work. Go to Full Review

Zoey Deutch adds much needed spark and sass to a tearjerker that’s become a Netflix streaming sensation even when it overloads on sugarbun cringe Go to Full Review

The easy chemistry of the romantic leads allows you to revel in the comfort of their love story, while the relationship between the sisters provides a unique access point for something more. Go to Full Review

Voicemails for Isabelle recycles much of the romantic comedy instruction manual but finds pleasure in the speed with which it executes its familiar tropes and in two actors who are a joy to accompany. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Grief and romance coalesce in this modern riff of You've Got Mail. Zoey Deutch seems to be this generation's Meg Ryan, but the movie still can't hold a candle to Nora Ephron's timeless classic. Go to Full Review

Ry N @RyGuy 19 hrs ago A guy starts getting voicemails on his new work phone intended for a girl’s dead sister. This movie is so sad with great quirky drama. See more Sarah M @RT16053498 1 day ago Overall, I enjoyed "Voicemails for Isabelle" but wouldn’t watch it a second time. The actors gave their best but I feel the writing, directing and editing undermined the final product. Plot-wise, I really liked the premise, which is that a man first falls in love with a woman by hearing her deepest, most raw and honest thoughts. But the film doesn’t really address the elephant in the room - how is the woman not terrified of him when she discovers he’s been eavesdropping on her? Editing-wise, little things felt sloppy to me… like the actor scratching his ear in the bus or rubbing at his toes by the pool - why were these left in the film? Writing - the Giggle Bus was a cringy scene because the jokes weren’t funny… and so much is anticipated when the male protagonist stands up to "make giggles". Some of the lines, though largely saved by Zoey Deutch’s heartfelt performance, felt like they were trying too hard to be clever, yet failed to rise above the film’s over-used romantic tropes. See more Justin D @Movie-Buff101 Oct 21, 2026 Don’t listen to Chris M…. This movie was phenomenal! Made me cry happy tears. If you like serendipity and movies like it, then you’ll love it. If you don’t, then you may have no soul and might want to pass on this one. Too da loo See more Christopher M @Pookster Oct 16, 2026 Not gonna lie this movie is complete ass. Needs to be paused every four minutes to laugh at, not laugh with. It’s like the worst person you knew in high school wrote the script. There’s not a single normal line in this movie. Writing this as we quit watching 30 minutes in. Save yourselves. See more Christian K @ckacar Oct 7, 2026 This was pretty good and much more confident and well performed than a typical Netflix streaming release. It just has a brutal last 40 minutes, they had to stick to the romantic comedy breakup and get back together formula but with no regard whether it made sense with any of the characters or story. See more Rob D @RobJMD Oct 2, 2026 This was so unexpectedly good. It didn’t cross over into too cheesy, the main characters were a joy, it was cliche but not cliche at the same time. Soundtrack excellent. See more Read all reviews
