Jace E @thefilmguy May 21 I watched this movie on a flight and instantly loved it. I've decided that if Zoe Kazan is starring in a movie, I need to watch it because it will be packed with awkward charm. The dialogue in this movie is so witty and quick, specifically in the engagement ring shopping scene and the "best case scenario" scene. I could study both and learn new things every time. Highly quotable, endlessly rewatchable and packed with quirky charm, this one is a new favorite. Best Character: Allan Best Quote: "You don't realise how quickly everything can fall apart until it does, it makes you never want to give up anything good ever again" - Chantry (Honorable mention to the nacho line) Best Scene: The Almost Kisses in the Dressing Room (honorable mention to the falling out the window scene) Best Piece of Score: "Beach Bummer" See more Samim A 02/14/2025 Great rom-com with sharp dialogues, but for the love of Vol de Mort, how did Harry Potter become such a bad actor? Adam Driver is hilarious while Daniel Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan have adorable chemistry. In traditional rom-com fashion, the last third of the movie is dragged down by petty melodrama about mixed signals, misdirection’s, and miscommunications followed by the obligatory fight and sulking before the inevitable reunion. But to be fair, most rom-coms do this and this one is certainly above that. It’s still an adorable little rom-com that’s very well-executed. See more Jonathan L 02/25/2024 Honestly some of the best acting I've seen from Radcliffe, though Driver was undeniably the star of the show, he was the perfect balance of foil and comic releif, but still had just enough heart to make his character genuine. The rest of the cast was good. Loved the animation, though some of the other overlays felt out of place. The plot was a but pradictable, but otherwise airtight.
