In ZACK SNYDER'S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman's (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.

This four-hour endurance test of a movie is a jumble of CGI battles and endless overuse slow motion. Go to Full Review

Let's not forget that the Snyder Cut was in part willed into being by a toxic social media campaign, mob rule begetting a mystical monocultural object that is finally much bigger than its ostensible creator. Go to Full Review

But with his unfair advantage of time, Snyder's version is easily the definitive one, and it's actually an enjoyable and well-rounded four hours, even with its slow patches. Go to Full Review

The Syndercut is essentially an extended version of JL with new footage that tied up loose ends, cut out all the cheesy and sexiest JOSStice scenes, improved the horrific CGI, and primarily made all of our beloved heroes much more captivating and GODLIKE! Go to Full Review

Jared K @RT23220157 1 day ago the 4 hour cut we deserved. nothing like the hack job that joss did with his 2 hour version which barely used zaks footage. im sure i made a comment years ago on release, but now will do. See more Diesel D @ConsumerOfMedia 4 days ago good movie just not a great justice league movie i think its fun but snyder needs to stick to themes like watchmen or later on darker movies he cant write superman or batman without making them dull and gritty and the movies gray and dull tone is offputting otherwise its a decent film See more Jacob W @RT17896586 6 days ago Marvel had Avengers DC tried out Justice League. While lots have been said about this version of JL I think it holds up quite well. It’s more grown up than Avengers and while there were two versions I think this is the better. Sadly it does don’t get enough traction. Which is a shame as it could have been perhaps better than it was. Now that the studios have merged perhaps there could be a second bite of the apple. See more Amit N @RT59488462 Oct 24, 2026 It is a drag! 4 hours, slow story progression. Not sure what the purpose was to keep going with all the slow motion and over the top CGI See more Adam A @Bueller Oct 24, 2026 To this day, I am baffled that there are still people lamenting the fact that this movie exists. If it were any other director, the story behind this movie’s existence would be celebrated. You shouldn’t even have to like the film itself to agree with that. The one real gripe I have is that it gets a little self-indulgent, namely towards the end. Still, given the circumstances, I can live with it. See more Emmanuele C @RT79297851 Oct 23, 2026 Zack Snyder’s Justice League is an extraordinary cinematic experience and a remarkable example of how a director’s vision can transform a movie. Yes, it is long, but every minute feels justified, allowing the characters, story, and emotional depth to develop in ways the theatrical version never achieved. This is not simply an extended cut; it is an entirely different film. The storytelling is richer, the atmosphere darker and more immersive, and the heroes finally receive the depth and respect they deserve. Cyborg becomes the emotional heart of the story, while the visual style is breathtaking, the action spectacular, and the soundtrack perfectly complements the film’s grandeur. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the entire Justice League finally feel like the legendary heroes they are meant to be. Bold, ambitious, and deeply satisfying, this epic proves how much a filmmaker’s vision matters. It is a masterpiece that deserved to be seen this way from the beginning. Pure joy!!
